Dr. Bhadran Bose

Dr Bose is a Senior Staff Specialist at Nepean and Blue Mountains Local Health District with a special interest in glomerular diseases. He is also a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney. He completed his Glomerular Disease fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Queensland on “Treatment of Glomerular Diseases," with a particular focus on Membranous nephropathy.

He is a member of the AKTN Glomerular Disease working group. Dr Bose has participated in numerous clinical trials as the principal investigator for glomerular diseases, including IgA nephropathy, FSGS, and aHUS.

Dr. Kate Robsoon

Dr Kate Robson is a nephrologist at Alfred Health and adjunct lecturer at Monash University in Melbourne. Kate has a particular interest in advancing the care of patients with immune-mediated kidney disease, and was awarded the ANZSN Young Investigator Award 2023 for her PhD project in cellular mechanisms of autoimmunity at Monash University. She has experience as an investigator in global clinical trials in kidney diseases. Kate is founding program director of GlomCon Fellowship, an innovative online education initiative nurturing the development of nephrologists across the Asia-Pacific region. Kate completed a Masters in History of Medicine at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, researching the history of chronic illness care, and is a member of the Medical History Society of Victoria. An accomplished musician, Kate performs with Melbourne’s Corpus Medicorum Orchestra, and enjoys music, reading, walking and swimming with her three young children.

Dr Wang obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of New South Wales and was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) following completion of her Nephrology training at Westmead, Nepean and Blacktown Hospitals. She is currently undertaking her fellowship in Obstetric Medicine in Liverpool Hospital. She is actively involved in teaching with the University of Sydney Nepean Clinical School.

Matthew Nguyen is a nephrologist at Blacktown Hospital, having had completed his training in the Western Renal Service, Sydney, and has an interest in chronic kidney disease. He is actively involved in both medical education, as Conjoint Lecturer at Western Sydney University, and systems improvement, including co-lead of the local Standard 4 Medication Safety Committee.

Dr Angela Chou

Dr Angela Chou is a nephrologist and renal supportive care physician at Nepean Hospital with special interest in kidney supportive care, chronic kidney disease and glomerular diseases. She completed a renal research fellowship at St George hospital and her thesis on ‘Shared decision making in older patients with advanced chronic kidney disease’ has been well received at both local and international conferences; it won first place in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Trainee Research Awards in 2022. She enjoys teaching and has been the academic renal unit co-ordinator for the University of Sydney Masters of Internal Medicine since 2019.
