Dr. Bhadran Bose

A/Prof. Bhadran Bose is a senior staff specialist nephrologist at Nepean Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. He has specific clinical and research expertise in glomerular diseases.  

He completed his Nephrology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, followed by a fellowship in glomerular diseases at the University of Toronto, Canada. 

A/Prof. Bose was awarded a PhD from the University of Queensland for his thesis ‘Treatment of Glomerular Diseases’, with a specific focus on membranous nephropathy. He has contributed significantly to the scientific community through original research and systematic reviews published in leading international nephrology journals.  

He has co-authored nephrology chapters in academic textbooks, and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple academic journals. He founded the first Australia and New Zealand Glomerular Disease Workshop and is actively involved in teaching and mentorship.

Dr. Kate Robsoon

Dr Kate Robson is clinical lead in Renal Medicine at Bayside Health Alfred Care Group and adjunct lecturer at Monash University. Kate has a particular interest in advancing the care of patients with immune-mediated kidney disease, She was awarded the ANZSN Young Investigator Award 2023 for her PhD project in cellular mechanisms of autoimmunity, and has experience as an investigator in global clinical trials in kidney diseases. Kate is the founding program director of GlomCon Fellowship, an innovative online education initiative nurturing the development of nephrologists across the Asia-Pacific region. She is also a member of the ISN OSEA Regional Board. Kate enjoys playing music, walking by the sea and swimming with her young family.

Dr Lucy Wang

Dr Lucy Wang

Dr Wang is an obstetric medicine staff specialist at Liverpool Hospital, and a nephrologist in the Nepean and Blue Mountains Local Health District. She completed her nephrology training within the Western Renal Service (New South Wales, Australia) in 2024, and received her SOMANZ certificate in obstetric medicine in 2025. She is actively involved in research and has a special interest in hyperemesis gravidarum, glomerular diseases in pregnancy, and postpartum secondary hypertension screening. She is a conjoint associate lecturer with the Western Sydney University, Liverpool Hospital school of medicine, and a tutor and trial examiner for the Nepean Hospital Basic Physician Training teaching program.

Dr Matthew Nguyen

Dr Matthew Nguyen

Dr Matthew Nguyen is a nephrologist having had trained through the Western Renal Service, Sydney, and currently the Obstetric Medicine Fellow at the Royal Hospital for Women with the aim of improving care during pregnancy particularly for those with chronic kidney disease and other complex medical conditions. He has been actively involved in medical education, including as Conjoint Lecturer at Western Sydney University, and enjoys actively engaging in systems and quality improvement, with experience including co-leading a Standard 4 Medication Safety Committee.

Dr Angela Chou

Dr Angela Chou

Dr Angela Chou is a nephrologist and renal supportive care physician at Nepean Hospital with special interest in kidney supportive care, chronic kidney disease and glomerular diseases. She completed a renal research fellowship at St George hospital and her thesis on ‘Shared decision making in older patients with advanced chronic kidney disease’ has been well received at both local and international conferences; it won first place in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Trainee Research Awards in 2022. She enjoys teaching and has been the academic renal unit co-ordinator for the University of Sydney Masters of Internal Medicine since 2019.
